Black Tent

- What is the black tent on my bearded dragons beard?
His beard will sometimes turn a light black tent,I pet and hold him and it will go away anyone know what this means

A It is completely normal. The outward appearance of Dragons reflects their mood. They become darker to absorb more heat, they also have a dark ugly appearance when bored and unhappy and no lines on the tummy might be visible. They show more orange when happy and active and a light appearance when they are hot. After a swim in the 'rain' they will make themselves darker to absorb more heat from the sun and the tummy lines will also be more prominent. My one dragon's beard goes black when he is up to mischief and in his element. My other dragon's beard goes orange when he has his mind set on something. Both their beards go black when they encounter each other and no lines appear on the tummies although they are both clearly stressed. If you get to know your dragon by heart you will be able to read the outward appearance. - Do you think a black tent would be hotter other colours of tents?
I just bought a tent and was surprised to find it was black. Is it just me or does anyone else think this is a mad colour for a tent?

A i dont want my tent to stand out....for some mad maniac to come and chop me into little bits.in the middle of the night.....so stay safe.....keep with the black......
