- Outdoor wedding- Tent rental with Tables & Chairs etc.?
I am planning my outdoor wedding, renting a 40x60 tent, staging, lighting & dance floor for the reception but I am wondering if it's best/cheapest to rent most of my other supplies and accessories (Eg. Tables, chairs, flatware, glasses & linens) from the tent rental company or let the caterers take care of that. Most likely will be a buffet style dinner. Any personal experiences or opinions are welcome!
A Do some research and make an excel spreadsheet. Ask the caterer and look around at other places. Ask if there's any packages, which are often discounted, you can use. Budget every possible route and then decide which is the best economical option. (Yes, this sounds overwhelming, but on a weekend when you have a spare couple of hours, work on it.)

I'm engaged and hope to get married june 25, 2011. Problem is, the #1 venue I had in mind (Lake Pearl) is booked on that date, and what drew me to that place was their large tent for an outdoor reception. I REALLY, really want my reception held under a tent, but I can't seem to find ANY venue that offers a tent! Does anyone know of any place, whether it be a reception venue that has a tent, or even just some large field where i can then rent all my supplies, in south eastern massachusetts (like attleboro, mansfield, foxboro, plainville, walpole, stoughton, etc, etc.) where i can have my reception???
A Five Bridge Inn in Rehoboth has a tent and they offer a lot of stuff in their wedding package, which I believe costs $7850. (They include your room, breakfast for 30 people the next day, chairs/tables, etc)
