Outdoor Winter Tent Reviews - FAQ and Questions
- I want to buy a outdoor tent for winter, how to choose the best one?
My friends and I plan to enjoy the different winter in the mountain, maybe stay one day there. Please give me some advice of choosing a best and proper one. Thank you very much.
A Decide how big you need it first - how many of you are going to sleep in it, not too big and you will share each others warmth. Then work out what your price range is - generally the more expensive the better quality it will be - but not always! Dome tents are quite good for winter use because of their shape they tend to stand up to strong winds well. Vango are a good make: http://www.moreoutdoorgear.co.uk/product/42/476113/Vango-Typhoon-300-Tent-3-Person.html As are Robens: http://www.moreoutdoorgear.co.uk/product/82/7059AWUK/Robens-Osprey-2-Lite-Tent-2011.html I would definitely recommend getting yourself a decent 4 season sleeping bag though as that is the thing that is going to keep you warm - heres a good place to look - http://www.4seasonsleepingbag.co.uk/

- Fun things to do when winter tent camping?
we have a trip with our camping tent and other outdoor equipment, so we want some suggestion about any funny things to do?
A Hi Doris, Funny things to do? If you're going to be in snow country build a snow creature, make weird snow angels. Other snow activities include taking a snow shoe hike, ice fishing, identifying and following wild animal tracks or cross country ski. Fun things to do would be star gazing, campfire stories and songs, take a hike. Full moon snow shoeing or cross country skiing is a lot of fun too.
